Executive coaching for leaders working through something that matters.
A difficult decision. A transition. A relationship that isn’t working. A change you’re trying to lead. Or something about your own leadership that you know needs attention. Whatever brought you here, this is a place to think it through, challenge your assumptions and work out what you want to do next.
- A decision you keep circling without landing on
- Stepping into a bigger or different role
- A working relationship that has stopped working
- Leading a change that people are resisting, quietly or otherwise
- A pattern in how you lead that you keep noticing but have not addressed
I’ve spent more than 30 years working with leaders and organisations, as a leader myself, an executive coach and a facilitator, across more than 40 countries. I’ve been an ICF PCC executive coach for over 15 years and, through nearly two decades on the faculty of European business schools, have worked with thousands of leaders. I bring that experience to the conversation, but the work stays firmly centred on you, your situation and what will make a difference.
How it works
Coaching happens one-to-one, remotely, in sessions of ninety minutes. Between sessions, you can reach me by email if something needs a quick thought before we next meet. I do not send written summaries afterwards. You decide what matters, what you take forward and what you want to return to next time. You own the work.
There are two ways to work with me, and a third if you want more than conversation.
Who I’ve worked with
Because this work is confidential, you will not find case studies or client quotes here. What I can share is the range of organisations I have worked with over the years, across coaching, facilitation and organisational engagements, among them Ericsson, IBM, Microsoft, Airbus, Deutsche Bank, Bayer and the European Commission, alongside three European business schools where I have taught for close to twenty years. A fuller list, by sector, is on the About page.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know which programme is right for me?
That is exactly what the initial call is for. In most cases, it comes down to whether you are working through something specific and time-bound, or a longer stretch that needs sustained attention. We work out which fits on the call, not before it.
What happens on the introductory call?
We talk about what you are working through, I ask enough questions to understand the shape of it, and we work out together whether coaching is the right response and, if so, which programme makes most sense. If I do not think coaching is the right fit, I will say so.
How do I pay?
We start with the initial call. If we agree to go ahead, I raise an invoice for the programme, payable before we start. If your organisation is paying, I can invoice them directly.
Is what we discuss confidential?
Yes. What you bring to coaching stays between us, in line with the International Coaching Federation’s Code of Ethics, which I work to. If your organisation is sponsoring the coaching, we will agree from the outset what, if anything, is shared with them. The content of our coaching conversations remains confidential.
Who is this not right for?
If you are looking for training, a fixed curriculum, or someone to hand you a ready-made answer, this will not be a good fit. Coaching works when you are willing to think something through with someone, test your assumptions and take responsibility for what you do next.
Do you coach in person or only remotely?
Principally remotely, by video call using Teams, Zoom or Google Meet. I have worked this way for over twenty years, with leaders across more than forty countries, so it is not a fallback option for me: it is how I coach. I can work in person where it makes sense, but we would need to discuss location, availability and investment.
Can I book if I am in a different time zone?
Yes. I work with leaders internationally and can usually find a time that works across time zones. We can sort out the practicalities when we arrange the initial call.
What if I need to reschedule a session?
I understand that senior roles can be unpredictable. If something changes, let me know as early as you can, and we will find another time.
Do you offer a reduced rate for NGOs?
Yes. I have worked with NGOs and mission-driven organisations for many years, and I recognise that budgets can be very different from those in the corporate sector. I offer a reduced Executive Coaching rate for people working in NGOs where the standard fee would be difficult to accommodate. Contact me before booking and tell me a little about your organisation and situation.
Can I book Executive Coaching for several of my leaders?
Yes. Organisations can arrange Executive Coaching for individual leaders or for several people across a leadership team or organisation. Each coaching relationship is confidential and tailored to the individual, while the overall engagement can be structured around the organisation’s wider leadership priorities. If you are considering coaching for several leaders, contact me, and we can discuss the number of people involved, what you are hoping to achieve and the most appropriate way to structure the engagement.
Start with a conversation
Every programme starts with a thirty-minute call.
No obligation, just enough time to understand what you are working through and work out whether this is the right fit for both of us.
