On reflection this really is the wrong question. Facilitators need to look beyond this tactical question and consider the bigger picture. In my 30 minute talk I discussed four questions or ideas that I think we need to look at beyond F2F or Online:

  1. Are we speeding too fast through the consulting process? We are, in general, going too fast to the delivery of events, without taking time in contracting / discovery.
  2. Are we really clear about all of the goals? Bigger picture, session, stakeholders and our own?
  3. Are we considering the full flow of the event from first email to last follow up?
  4. Are we narrowing the gap between expectations and reality of participants?
